Post Christmas

Well, since I can't seem to find the old  post I started I'll just start again.  Someone told me a long time ago, Christmas never lives up to the anticipation. That is certainly true, especially when you have to wait for 2 extra days before you can open your goodies. Then only to find out the gifts you got for some of your grandchildren were already given. Makes one wonder why bother. As for the meal, never feels like Christmas dinner, not sure what was missing but something was.  Must be all the confusion, everything opened and the kids still played the video games. Enjoyed visiting with my kids, they always make me proud, and humble that  turned out so well, in spite of their parents. Off to do laundry and breakfast.  Later when something interesting happens, that could be weeks..
